  • What should I do after my lash appointment?
Maintaining long lasting lashes, requires team work. We have done our part of extending your lashes. Now it's up to you to maintain them. Please follow these guide lines to achieve the best results Please note that we cannot guarantee our services if all the below instructions are not adhered to. All fill appointments require 50% minimum lash extensions to qualify for the fill price. If removal of mascara or other makeup is required prior to service, the time it takes to do so is deducted from your appointment time. Please note, we use the highest and best quality products on the market. We have years of experience with these products and hundreds of satisfied customers. As Certified, Licensed Professionals we can confirm our products are guaranteed and will result in you becoming another satisfied customer "if" you adhere to our instructions. 1) Avoid over exposing lashes to extreme temperatures for the first 12-24 hours after your lash application. 2) Do not use eyelash curlers, perm or tint the extension lashes. This will break the bond and/or crease the extension permanently. 3) Do not use any mascara. There are thousands of products on the market and we cannot advise to use the products without knowing the ingredients. Mascara may dissolve the adhesive and we cannot guarantee our lashes if we confirm you have applied mascara to your extensions. This is harmful to your lash extensions and may require full removal or additional time for cleaning and fill. If you decide to risk using mascara, only use water-soluble mascara on your eyelash extensions. Waterproof mascara/cosmetics should NOT be used. Note that repeated use of mascara may shorten the lifespan of Eyelash Extensions. Specialized extension sealant and Lash Serum (topical vitamin serum) to strengthen hair follicle/lash is highly recommended and can be purchased at appointment. 4) Avoid rubbing your eyes or pulling on your extensions. Any action which repeatedly puts stress or strain on your Eyelash Extensions will cause them to come off prematurely. If you require lash removal, please contact us to schedule an appointment. Allow 30 minutes for a full removal. 5) Use only non-oily, non-creamy cleanser to remove make up and follow with a gentle lash wash or cleanser. A lint-free brush or swab is best for eyeliner removal and cleansing along lash-line. A special Lash Wash is available for purchase at your appointment. 6) If you use night creams, please make sure you allow them to completely soak into your skin prior to your head hitting the pillow or the cream may be absorbed via your pillow and transferred to your lashes resulting in the adhesive being dissolved. Avoid any cosmetic product or cleanser containing glycols, organic solvents, or urea should be avoided. Products such as these can potentially break down the adhesive bond and shorten the duration of time the extensions stay on. Products with high concentrations of alcohol should also be avoided. 7) Keep an eyelash brush (provided) handy to straighten up any stray lashes. We recommend you dip your brush we provide in warm water and brush your lashes in the morning after your shower/bath when they are moist and clean. We all wake up with "morning hair" and after your extensions you will also wake up with "morning lash" and to properly maintain, you must brush them when in disarray. However, DO NOT OVER BRUSH.... just when necessary. 8) Eyelashes shed on regular basis, thus multiple extensions may be lost with your lashes on any given day. Visit your Lash Artist for touch-ups every 2-4 weeks based on your desire of fullness. ENJOY YOUR LASHES AND SEE YOU AT THE NEXT APPOINTMENT!
  • What should I do before my lash appointment?
    1) Come in with a clean face; remove all eye makeup and clean your lashes with mild, oil free cleanser prior to your appointment. 2) Do not use oil based makeup removers to clean your lashes prior to or after your lash application. 3) If you are a contact wearer, remove contact lenses and wear glasses to your appointment. Or, bring a lens case and remove them when you arrive to your appointment. 4) Plan to set aside 45-60 minutes for a fill or 2 hours for your appointment for a Full Set. 5) Bring your own music, audiobook or enjoy the music we select in our studio. This is a relaxing beauty treatment. Most of our clients fall to sleep during the procedure and they are always amazed when they wake up with gorgeous looking lashes.
  • Is it ok if I wear mascara to go to my lash appointment?
Coming to a lash appointment with mascara on is like going to the dentist without brushing your teeth. As gross as this sounds, it’s true. If you arrive with mascara on your lashes, it takes extra time to clean them. What’s worse is it takes time away from actually applying new lashes. It’s unnecessary to deal with so come clean, makeup free, and ready to lash.
  • What's the difference between Strip Lashes, Cluster Lashes and Lash Extensions?"
Strip lashes, cluster lashes, and eyelash extensions are all very different. Strip lashes are designed for personal application and for one night wear-ability. Cluster lashes are the exact same concept with a differently dramatic end result.... Needless to say, a very unhealthy one. Neither strip lashes nor cluster lashes should ever be applied with eyelash extension adhesive. Period. Eyelash extension glue should never come in contact with the skin which is the contact point for strip and cluster lashes. Get it, got it, good. Lash extensions are semi-permanent and applied by professionals who use isolation techniques and high quality products. The results last weeks and you don’t have to worry about a lash strip coming loose at an inopportune moment. You wake up looking gorgeous and ready to go.
  • Does touching and manipulating your lashes causes them to fall out prematurely?
Trust and believe that we understand the will power it takes not to touch or play with your lash extensions every time you catch a glimpse in the mirror. Fight the urge! It really helps. Make it a point to only play with your lashes when you are grooming them.
  • How should I sleep if I want my lashes to last?
If you’re at all concerned with the lifespan of your favorite lash extensions, avoid sleeping face down. This puts your lashes in a position to become twisted or tangled and even fall out. Sleeping on your back is ideal, but if you choose to sleep on your side, make sure your lashes are hanging off the side of the pillow. This isn’t to mention that you’ll reap the benefit of a healthy neck from not sleeping face down. You’re welcome.
  • What can I do if I want my lashes to remain full?
You must maintain them regularly. Even when all of the above is taken into account, you still need to get a fill or touch-up every 3 to 4 weeks. Natural lashes shed as their growth cycle progresses and eventually fall out regardless of how diligent you are. To always have the “just got a new full set” look, maintenance is the reality but a fantastic one to have.
  • It is important to clean my lashes?
Yes, If you want your natural lashes to be healthy and continue to grow so you can actually wear lash extensions, wash them. We can’t stress this enough! Cleaning your eyelashes daily, especially the base of your lashes, allows them to stay clear of makeup residue and oils. If the hair follicle is clogged, the lashes won’t grow. Still not entirely convinced? Google Microscopic Demodex and that should get you on board with daily cleansing.
  • It is my lash growth affected by my lifestyle: diet, stress, supplements, etc?"
It’s important to remember that we’re talking about eyelashes or human hair which is made from keratin. Keratin is a protein that is affected by diet, lifestyle choices, and stress. Hair is an extension of your body and a reflection of your health and stress is a known health hazard that can lead to thinning hair. Hormonal flocculation can be a burden on hair growth as well. Eating a balanced diet and living a healthy lifestyle means a lot to your lashes.
  • Can I wear mascara with my lash extensions?
Sure you can wear lash extension safe mascara which means the mascara is free from glycol and urea, 2 ingredients that are great for mascara but not for lash extensions. Be conscious of the fact that even if you wear lash extension safe mascara, regular application can be detrimental. Thoroughly cleaning mascara from your lashes becomes a vigorous task, and remember, lash extensions can fall out due to excessive rubbing. Wearing mascara every now and again is OK but proceed with caution. This good idea can easily be overdone into a bad decision.

  • What is Eyebrow Microblading?
EYEBROW MICROBLADING also known as eyebrow embroidery, microstroking, feather brows, 3D brows, HD brows, and etching. Microblading is a manual method of depositing a small amount of pigment into the epidermis layer of the skin using a very fine blade allowing for very crisp, fine, hair-like strokes that do not blur after healing. This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. Get the brows you love! It doesn't matter if you like them arched and feathered or straight and bold, eyebrows are arguably the most important facial feature. If you're not satisfied with the ones you have, there are so many ways to update them, including brow gel, pencils, tint, eyebrow extensions and even tattooing. But now there's a very natural option that delivers semi-permanent results, Eyebrow Microblading. Construct fuller, thicker, more defined eyebrows for a youthful and healthy appearance. Eyebrow Microblading is a great solution for sparse, thinning, over plucked, over waxed brows for both men and women. These techniques can help cover gaps and scars, create a new, more defined shape, arch, and fuller looking brows. Microblading constructs natural looking brows for people with little or no hair due to aging, cancer, chemotherapy, alopecia, or simply over groomed.
  • How is the Eyebrow Microblading procedure?
At the Lash Lounge and Brow Bar, each Microblading visit is customized for you. Before the procedure we map and design the new shape of your brows with a pencil allowing us to agree on the best shape and color that best fits your face. The pigments used in this method have been formulated to match your eyebrow color, and if the eyebrows are still present, blend perfectly into them. Microblading does not require your existing brow to be removed and does not damage your natural hair. To minimize discomfort, an anesthetic cream is used before and during the procedure. The entire process during the initial visit takes about 2 and a half hours, this is not a quickie procedure if you want to achieve optimal results. There is no downtime and results are a natural, flawless, fuller looking brows. Initially, the brows appear darker and bolder due to natural scabbing and healing for the first 10 days. A touch up is recommended four weeks after initial procedure to fill any gaps and add a second color for dimension. Pigment retention depends on your aftercare, sun exposure, skin type, age, use of certain types of skin products, immune system, medications and other factors. The results can last anywhere from 11 to 18 months, depending on the above mentioned factors affecting the procedure. However, a touch up once a year is recommended to retain the shape and saturation of pigment.
