HISTORY
Royce Jarrendt, founder of One Dwelling, Inc., began his interest in home building during high
school. Hands-on construction work in old row houses in Washington DC while taking drawing
classes sparked his interest in architecture. After graduating from Virginia Tech’s College of
Architecture he was employed by the renowned Berkus Group Architects while also renovating
homes during his time off. After gaining experience in each discipline, he began design and
construction under one roof with his award-winning design/build company. Twenty-Five years
later he continues to lead his team with creativity, honesty and integrity.
